Surge Snapper Ski Footrest Complete Controls

The Surge Footrest Kit for the Surge Snapper ski consists of the Foot Controls, Neoprene Footstrap (with leash point), Rail mounts and the Rails. Designed to fit a Surge Snapper it will fit some other models of Downwind Surf Ski.
The Foot Controls of two a carbon fibre toe control panels/flaps and base plate (on non metal hinges) Shaped to fit the Surge Snapper ski they will suit some other models from other brands.
Made from Carbon Fibre the Drive Plate and Toe Controls both have a textured finish to aid grip
The Footrest/ Drive Plate is a thick wedge rather than a flat plate (see pictures) that will remain firm and stiff no matter the power put through it. Two foam pads are adhered to the bottom of the plate to pad it from the footwell of the ski.
The toe controls are held in position by 2mm shock cord attached to the back via carbon fibre mounts keeping the foot area super clean.

The Surge Snapper Carbon Fibre Footrest Control Kit is the complete controls and mounts and mounting rails for a Snapper Downwind Ski
The rudder Control Plate is best suited to a Dynema/ Kevlar rudder control cord and features 2 holes on each plate for a Z friction system which is is easy to use and enables quick tool free leg length adjustment using the included rails.
It is possible to use Stainless steel cable if that is your current system but more care will need to be taken with wear from the cable through holes etc
Mounted on rails it features two holes on each side of the drive plate that attach to the separate Surge Footrest rail system (included but also available separately), but it can be mounted to other systems or in other ways to suit different skis.

Does not include Rudder or Rudder Cords
But this is not an exhaustive list by any means other kayak skis will possibly also fit this system.
