Surge Hatch Kit 10 inch Round 3 Handle Version

This Three handle 10 inch Twist Lock Hatch is compatible some early Perception kayaks, as well as Islander, Heritage, Cobra and Riot Kayaks models, and can be used as a replacement cover on the existing rim. Earlier models of the Viking (original install on Perception Islander etc.) would have one or two handles, this version has 3 but is otherwise the same.

Alternatively you can you this add this twist-and-lock hatch to any flat place on your kayak’s deck (but you will need a large area!). Don’t install it in low spots such as tank wells etc. This hatch can be purchased for use as a replacement cover if your kayak was equipped with this size and style of Viking or riot etc Brand Hatch and you can dispose of the rim.
There is no hatch bag, fitting hardware or gaskets included but it is compatible with Riot Clip On Stow Bags etc.

Rim outside diameter is 13 and 1/8 inches. The lid measures 10 and 1/2 inches in diameter. Measure the top most part of your hatch opening.
Comes with rim.

Rim screw/bolt holes spacing is the same as the current Viking and Riot models so can be placed easily into existing deck cut out utilising the same screw holes.

Viking Twist Lock hatches are common on the Heritage and Islander brand kayaks of the 1990s, as well as the Perception/Aquaterra Kahuna and Big Kahuna kayaks of the 90s, Riot Hatches are common on the Cobra and Riot kayaks to current models.
