Paddle Shaft Fibreglass Heavy Duty 140 cm

This Paddle Shaft is made of fibreglass and is more durable than the standard. This is reflected in its thicker wall thickness. This shaft is suitable for the most demanding paddlers and especially suited for white water where durability is key. Because this is normally used for white water it comes in a shorter length of minimum 140cm (may be slightly longer)

These Paddle Shafts are used to replace a broken shaft or in the construction of a new paddle where you already have the paddle blades. They are made up of a circular shaft (without any indexing) so the paddles can be set at any angle and the shaft can be cut to adjust the total paddle length.
External diameter is 29.7 mm approx
Internal diameter is 26.9 approx
This is the shaft only and does not come with paddle blades
Other paddle parts such as 2 piece joiners, spigots, hand/blade angle locators, heat shrink etc. are available from us separately.
