Pine tree push rivets are typically used to secure seat pads and other fabric items to kayaks.
The Harmony Push Rivet is a plastic push rivet and is also known as an Xmas or Pine Tree Rivet. This rivet is 5/8″ or 1.6cm long (Shorter)
Used on Wilderness Systems Pungos, Tsunamis, Tarpons, Rides and many other models.
Push rivets are removable, but sometimes may not be re-usable once removed.

Recommended drill bit size: 1/4″
This rivet is approximately 1.6cm long and will fit a 1/4″ hole (6-7mm). Normally used to secure seat pads seat bases it may also be used to attach thigh or knee padding to kayak coamings/ decks in some recreational models (e.g. Wilderness Systems Pungo style)
Due to the flexible nature of the limbs/arms these can be easily removed but this may cause the plastic to be deformed making the rivet unsuitable for reuse
